Upcoming news about the new cadets website

I am pleased to inform you that cadets of 55 squadron ATC have been working together to create a new fully up-to-date site that will be brought up online as soon as all the information is collect the website will be brought online.

information regarding leuchars camps

There has been a development and the squadron has been provided with extra places for leuchars camp week3 (the 10th to the 17th of July)
This is also the week that the squadron staff will be there.
Any cadets interested in going on this weeek please apply to the OC for more details

Information for week 4th to the 10th of April

There is no ATC meeting on the Monday the 5th as it will be stood down.
Parades continue as normal on Thursday 8th the uniform will be Greens it is recommended to bring smocks as the weather is not much warmer.
There will be a DofE kit inspection/check on Wednesday night at squadron. Meet at the squadron for 6:30 with as much of your kit as possible, the uniform for Wednesday is Civilian clothes this is only for those attending the DofE this weekend (bronze and silver)

Information for Monday 8th March

The uniform is sports kit.
Including sportwear, the sports will be at Hillcrest school NOT at squadron and all cadets will be picked up from the school as well cadets should NOT be dropped off or picked up from squadron.

Information for Sunday 27th Feb (Trip to RAC Altcar)

We will be departing from Wing HQ at 07:00 on Sunday morning (this has changes from Friday)
We will be travelling in DPM clothing ensure that you have a fully signed up 3822 and have their consent form and money (£10) with them at wing or already have handed in at Squadron. Also ensure that you have all of the equipment that you will be requiring for the weekend (see the kit list) anybody without a kit list should see in Squadron for further details

Information on upcoming Easter and Summer camp dates

There are two there are several camps that are upcoming over the Easter and Summer period all those who wish too be entered for the date please ensure your availability and submit your consent form. Cadets who enter in for more than one date are more likely to be places on the camps of there choice. (please point out the dates that you are available for in order of preferance on the concent forms when handing them in.
Easter camp at RAF Boulmer- Wed 24th to Wed 31st March 2010
Summer camps at Raf Leuchers-
week1- 26th June- 23rd July
week2- 3rd July- 10th July
week3- 10th July- 17th July
week4- 17th July- 24th July
week5- 24th July- 31st July

Information for Thursday 18th February

The uniform is working blues for exam preparation
This includes jumpers and dark blue shirts
Also any cadets who are going on the gliding detail will be recieving any last details including time to arrive at squadron and what time they are expected back
